REX VINORUM

Reproductions & Rights

Every piece passes a single rights gate before it can appear anywhere on this site. Nothing is listed, routed, or entered into the sitemap unless it has cleared.

Reproductions & treatments

These are public domain, cleared under the U.S. 95-year rule, gated by the source’s own publication year on a moving wall. A reproduction or treatment publishes only once a registrar has direct-fetch-confirmed the exact source scan and accession; until then it is held out of everything customer-facing. A treatment always credits the named work it honours.

Originals

House originals are contemporary works of the atelier. They claim no historical provenance — the provenance starts with you — and are numbered in the Edition Ledger.

The House Label

A House Label commission is an original work made for you: original armorial ornament (or arms you supply yourself), place-poetry instead of a protected appellation, and no claim of historical estate or provenance. It is edition-numbered like any other house original.

The Mark Doctrine

No real producer name, label, trade dress, bottle-identifying mark, or protected appellation styled as a genuine claim appears anywhere on this site, including in a commission. Invented houses wear original heraldry drawn by the atelier. The one deliberate exception is the historical record — the 1855 Classification necessarily names real estates as documented history, held to its own logged sign-off and never used in marketing or paid keywords. We take wine as subject and sell art — never wine, never age-gated, never an endorsement or affiliation.
