Refunds

One address carries all of this: paintedalways@gmail.com. A person reads it. Write from the address you ordered with, and send a photograph if the piece arrived wrong — that is usually the whole conversation.

Damaged or misprinted

If a piece arrives damaged, misprinted, or off from what you ordered, tell the house as soon as you see it and we reprint it or refund it in full — your choice. You do not need to send the piece back. If tracking stalls and the parcel never lands, the same holds: we reship or refund.

Made to order

Every physical piece is printed for your order, so a change of mind after production has begun cannot be returned. Cancel by writing the moment you know: if the piece has not yet gone to press, we cancel it and refund in full.

Digital downloads

A file paid for and never delivered is refunded in full. Once a file has been delivered it cannot be returned — a download is not a parcel. If the file you received is corrupt or is not the piece you bought, we replace it.

Editions

The Edition Ledger refuses any sale past a stated edition size. If an edition sells out while your payment is already in progress, that order is refunded in full without you asking — the same rule stated in the terms.

Commissions and trade inquiries

A House Label commission and a Trade Cellar inquiry take no money when you send them. They are requests: the house replies from the address above, confirms the details, and nothing is charged until you agree to a confirmed piece or proposal. So there is nothing to refund on an unanswered or withdrawn request — write and it is dropped. If a commission the house has confirmed comes back wrong, it is handled like any other piece above: remade, or refunded.

How the money comes back

Refunds return to the card that paid, through Stripe, and usually clear within 5–10 business days of being issued. The house does not hold store credit and never settles a refund as anything but money.
